After the Tour madness in the Netherlands today’s stage will be taking place on Belgian soil. There will definitely be a great atmosphere and lots of spectators. After his stage win of yesterday André Greipel wears the green jersey. It’s a short stage, with a finale that is comparable to the Flèche Wallonne: 159.5 kilometres from Antwerp to the Mur de Huy. Tim Wellens is riding on home roads.
“Yesterday’s victory gave an incredible feeling to the whole team," he said. "Today it’s a light version of the Flèche Wallonne with four climbs in the finale. Together with the last stage in Paris this probably is the most beautiful stage for Belgians, with the huge crowds along the route. This stage is an opportunity to show myself. Of course not the only one this Tour, but because we ride so close to my home, this is something special. I’m curious to see how the finale will be and when the battle will begin.”
