The Vuelta a Colombia continues to grow. The UCI has approved a request to extend the race which will now feature 13 stages and a rest day.
The development of Colombian cycling continues, not only with the growing export of excellent talents. Cycling at the national level is also flourishing. Now the UCI have approved the request of the Colombian Cycling Federation to extend the number of stages at the Vuelta a Colombia to 13. The race is the most important cycling event in the South American country.
The president of the federation informs that the race will now last for two full weeks as there will be a rest day along the way.
Oscar Sevilla won the 2014 edition of the race.
