Direct Energie is the first team to announce its line-up for Paris-Nice which starts on Sunday, March 6. The team will be led by Sylvain Chavanel and Thomas Voeckler.
Originally, the team had intended to go for the sprints with Bryan Coquard but after he broke his collarbone, the team will change its plans. Chavanel is likely to be the main rider as he aims for another top 10 result in the race where he has delivered several top results in the GC. He will be joined by Voeckler who recently won Tour La Provence, Perrig Quemeneur. and the very talented neo-pro Lilian Calmejane who was third overall in Provence, in the harder stages.
Adrien Petit will take the role as captain on the sprint stages where he can count on the support from Angelo Tulik and Alexandre Pichot. The team is completed by classics strongman Antoine Duchesne.
