After two seasons spent in the Kazakh team, Alessandro Vanotti confirmed in Italian media that he has signed new agreement with Astana for next two years.
The 33-year old Italian was pleased with his contribution to team’s successes in recent months and grateful that Astana management provided him with an opportunity to continue professional career in the squad.
“I’m really happy to announce it,” Vanotti told Tuttobiciweb, “And I have to thank my agents for having reached an agreement with Astana. Thanks also goes to the staff of the team, managers Vikokourov and Martinelli, who confirmed a trust they have in me.”
“Together with a whole team staff we were protagonists during this great season and I like to think that we will continue in the same line.”
