Dylan van Baarle, the young Dutch neo-pro on the Garmin Sharp team doing his first Grand Tour, has not started the fifteenth stage of the Giro d’Italia. The rider used his official Twitter page to inform his fans of his decision. The first-year pro is not sick or injured and even before the start of the Giro, it was decided that he would end his race prematurely. Garmin now only have 6 riders left in the race.
He said on Twitter:
“Left the Garmin Giro squad. Was a nice experience for me. I enjoyed those 2 weeks. Thanks riders and staff!!”
