According to Biciciclismo, Alejandro Valverde will have a new season start in 2015 as he will got to the three Asian stage races in February, Dubai Tour, Tour of Qatar and Tour of Oman.
The Movistar leader will turn the pedals for the first time at the Challenge Mallorca where he will start his 14th season as a professional. For the second year in arow, he will be at the start in Dubai (February 4-7). The novelty will be his next two races, Qatar (February 8-13) and Oman ( February 17-22).
Hence, the Spaniard won't be present at the Vuelta a Andalucia which he won in 2012, 2013 and 2014, at the Vuelta a Murcia or at Clasica de Almeria.
The main goal will be the Ardennesc classics, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana. He will share the leadership role with Nairo Quintana in the two grand tours.
