A few weeks ago, Rigoberto Uran announced that he will ride the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France in 2015. Now the Colombian Etixx-QuickStep rider has revealed the schedule for the first part of his season.
Rigoberto Uran will start his European season in France. In an interview with El Tiempo, the Colombian has announced that he will make his season debut at the National Championships that is scheduled for February 7-8. He will ride both the time trial and the road race and mainly hopes to win the former event. Later he will return to Europe where he will be at the start of the Boucles du Sud-Ardeche on February 28 and Strade Bianche on March 7.
The Tuscan race will prepare him for his first big challenge at Tirreno - Adriatico where he will be up against riders likeVincenzo Nibali , Nairo Quintana and Alberto Contador. After the Race of the Two Seas, the Colombian will be at the start of the Volta a Catalunya and the Tour de Romandie before he lines up for the Giro which will be his main goal in 2015.
