The Tour de France has just finished and LAMPRE-MERIDA is already preparing the next appointments, which will take place in the weekend in Spain.
The blue-fuchsia-green team will participate in the Clasica San Sebastian (30th of July) and in the Circuito de Getxo (31st of July) with a line-up of eight riders, directed by Marco Marzano: Matteo Bono, Mario Costa Ilia Koshevoy, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Simone Petilli, Luka Pibernik and Diego Ulissi.
“Dedication and concentration are the primary conditions for being competitive in both the races," sports director Marzano explained. "The Clasica San Sebastian is one of the most demanding one day races in the World Tour circuit, the course could be suitable for Ulissi, however we’re aware that the plot of this race is often varying, so we must be ready to support Diego in every situation. In our line-up there will be versatile riders who can both join the breakaways or work in supportof the captain”.
