It's a double appointment in Tuscany for LAMPRE-MERIDA in the weekend.

With the supervision of sports director Orlando Maini, on Saturday 5th March the blue-fuchsia-green riders will partecipate in the Strade Bianche. In this charming race, LAMPRE-MERIDA was in the top places of the classification several times in the past, but they have never obtained the victory.

These are the 8 riders in the team line-up: Mattia Cattaneo, Roberto Ferrari, Sacha Modolo,Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Diego Ulissi, Xu Gang and Federico Zurlo.

On Sunday, March 6 , the blue-fuchsia-green team will participate in GP Industria & Commercio Larciano with these riders: Mattia Cattaneo, Valerio Conti, Ilia Koshevoy, Sacha Modolo, Manuele Mori, Przemyslaw Niemiec, Simone Petilli and Diego Ulissi.

Sports director Maini explained the program of the team for the weekend: “For Strade Bianche, our main riders will be Niemiec and Ulissi, who’ll receive the support by Cattaneo and Mori. It will be important to be represented in the breakaways which usually begin in the early part of the race: this is the assignment for Xu, Modolo and Ferrari.

"The characteristics of the race and the bad weather conditions which are forecasted for Saturday will make the debut in the Strade Bianche even more interesting for Federico Zurlo whose skills are suitable for this kind of race.

"For what concerns the GP Industria & Commercio Larciano, our aim is to be protagonists thanks to our young talents Cattaneo, Conti, Koshevoy and Petilli, who all will have their opportunity to demonstrate their competitiveness. We don’t forget the presence of Ulissi, Modolo and Niemiec, who are top riders."
