LAMPRE-MERIDA is going to debut at the Czech Cycling Tour, a short stage race which is scheduled from August 11 to 14 in the Czech Republic.
The sports directors Mauduit and Righi will lead eight riders: Davide Cimolai, Chun Kai Feng, Marko Kump, Sacha Modolo, Manuele Mori, Simone Petilli, Xu Gang and Diego Ulissi.
The opening stage will be a team time trial of 17.3 km in Frydek-Mistek. The second stage (Olomuc-Unicov, 177 km) will be followed by the queen stage Mohelnice-Sternbek (187,4 km). The race will end on Sunday with the Olomuc-Dolanyn (157,1 km) stage.
In the Czech Republic,LAMPRE-MERIDA will meet a former rider of the team, Jan Svorada, who wore the blue-fuchsia colors from 1991 to 2004 (33 victories), in the organizing commitee.
