After a great season, French champion Steven Tronet has signed for Fortuneo-Vital Concept for 2016 (known as Bretagne Seche this season). The 28 year old won a stage of the Route du Sud and leaves the Continental squad Auber 93 for his new ProContinental team.
“I opted for a team where I knew it would be easy to fit in,” Tronet said, according to L’Équipe. “And since I’m from the Pas-du-Calais, the prospect of finally being able to ride Paris-Roubaix really attracted me.”
AG2R were also reported to be interested in signing him.
