German Tony Martin is fully focused on the World Championships time trial. According to Thuringian State Zeitung, the Etixx-Quick Step rider explained that he is really motivated and he hopes to be in a great shape for this event that take place on September 23 in Richmond.
"I want to be world champion again. If I was not able to win the individual time trial, then I am not going to compete", he told. "I'm very pleased, because I have currently minor injuries. I no longer suffer, but my shoulder will be totally repair in three weeks. I am able to train normally now."
Martin will resume competition at the Vattenfall Cyclassics on August 23rd.
