Jean-Christophe Peraud has reconsidered his racing schedule concerning the first part of the 2014 season and decided not to ride the Paris-Nice, as the relatively undemanding route of the race lacking a time trial stage was recently announced.
Instead, the Frenchman decided to ride the Tirreno-Adriatico and the same bolster the field which anyway appeared to be very strong this year.
.
"The Tirreno-Adriatico will be a new adventure for me,” Peraud told La France Cycliste
“There will be a team time trial, an individual time trial and the uphill finishes that are more suitable to my characteristics."
For the captain of the Ag2r La Mondiale the march to the Tour de France, his main objective of 2014 season, will continue with Critérium International, the Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Tour de Romandie and Criterium du Dauphine.
