The Danish cycling team is relieved, happy and ready to look forward after their license was granted today. A rather hectic period of time has ended successfully for CULT Energy Pro Cycling after UCI approved the team’s license today. The team was granted extra time to send in the adequate documentation after a much necessary reconstruction in the management was made earlier this month.
The new Team Manager, Christa Skelde, has – along with the rest of the management – been working extremely hard in order to ensure the license would be granted by UCI.
“We are extremely happy and relieved that our license has been granted as it’s been a very eventful December for all of us. We have worked so hard to put the final pieces together and even though we did not doubt that we would receive our license, it has been very tough to be in a state of uncertainty.” The Team Manager states.
From here on out the focus will shift from administrative tasks to complete focus on cycling.
“Now we have to adjust our mindset 100% towards cycling, which is what everybody wants and where our passion comes from. The 2015 season is not far away and we will do everything possible to create the optimal conditions for our riders and the rest of the staff – starting with our training camp in the end of January.” Christa Skelde concludes.
The Danish team, which is the biggest cycling team in Scandinavia, will now focus on completing the race calendar for 2015.
