Marcel Wyss has decided to put an end to his career. The 30-year-old Swiss had to look for a new team after it became known that IAM Cycling would fold, but he has failed in his search. His new employer is the Thomus cycling shop.
In the Swiss company, he will be responsible for the further development of road bikes from January 1, 2017.
"I look forward to this challenge and I am grateful to CEO Thomas Binggeli that he gave me the chance to transition from top sport to the cycling industry in a smooth way," he said.
In 2009, Wyss joined Cervelo and then rode for Geox-TMC Transformers and NetApp befoe he joined IAM Cycling. Known as a good climber, he failed to take any professional victories.
