Team Southeast adds another important piece to the puzzle by renewing the contract of Jakub Mareczko until the end of the 2017 season.
The 21-year-old rider, winner of 4 races in his debut season as a pro, signed the extension of his contract yesterday in Montecatini Terme.
“I’m happy because I believe in the project of the team. I want to grow up and be competitive also in races like the Giro d’Italia in the following two years," he said.
Mareczko is regarded as one of the biggest Italian sprinting talents and won two stages in both the Vuelta al Tachira and Vuelta a Venezuela in 2015.
