Today Euskaltel confirmed that 2008 Olympic Champion Samuel Sánchez will lead their team at the Tirreno-Adriatico next week.

For Sánchez the race will form and integral and important part of his preparations for the Giro d’Italia, which ranks high on his list of priorities this season.

At Tirreno-Adriatico Sánchez will be joined by Egoi Martínez, Jorge Azanza, Miguel Mínguez, Ioannis Tamouridis, Ricardo García, Robert Vrecer and Garikoitz Bravo on the Euskaltel team.
