Team Sky directeur sportif Nicolas Portal spoke to letour.com this morning ahead of today's team time trial.
“It's true that it's a different ball game with two contenders in this TTT weakened. Etixx-Quick Step without Tony Martin is not the same thing and Orica-GreenEdge have only six riders left, one of them injured. Moreover a week of the Tour levels the chances. I think that with Richie Porte, Geraint Thomas, Ian Stannard and Chris [Froome], we have the riders for this kind of effort for which we have worked hard. It didn't show in the Dauphiné but I'm confident we can do very well in this time trial and even win it."
