Sick for a week, Tony Gallopin announced on social networks he was ending his season 2014. He will not participate in Paris-Tours, where he was one of the big outsiders : "I am sick since 8 days and out for @ParisTours ! Season is over and rest is coming!!! #holiday".
The Lotto Belisol Team rider ends with a stage win and a day in yellow on the Tour de France. He also took 2nd place in the GP de Wallonie, the 3rd place on the GP Montreal and De Brabantse Pijl. On stage races, he take a nice 10th place on Paris-Nice.
