On Sunday, Team Europcar will be in Maurepas for the start of Paris-Nice, one of the major objectives of the team. Last weekend the team did four races that allowed the management to finalize the selection for the big event.
Cyril Gautier and Romain Sicard will be the leaders after both of them showed solid condition in the Classic Sud-Ardeche and Drome Classic. Especially Gautier looked very sharp on the climbs. Despite not being in his best condition, Thomas Voeckler will start as road captain while Bryan Nauleau will be the faithful lieutenant
That is the backbone of the team for Paris-Nice but the team also aims at the sprints by lining up Bryan Coquard. He will be supported by lead-out man Yohann Gene who rode strongly in the recent Tropical Amissa Bongo, and the two rouleurs Angelo Tulik and Antoine Duchesne.
