Pierre Latour will have to stop his preparation for three weeks.
Currently in Gandia in Spain with his team AG2R - La Mondiale, the young Frenchman broke the fifth metacarpal bone after a minor accident on the stairs of his hotel. He will not be able to ride with his teammates for three weeks but will be back on the bike home trainer in a few days thanks to a brace.
In 2016, Latour won one of the mountain stages in the Vuelta. He is expected to make his Tour de France debut in 2017.
