Boonen and Friends, a charity cyclo-cross race, was won by Sean De Bie. Geert Wellens won the race for former cyclo-cross pros.

Tom Boonen again gathered the cycling pros for a cross around Zilvermeer in Mol. As he is still recovering from his crash in Abu Dhabi where he broke a temporal bone, he was unable to do the race himself.

Ex-world champion Zdenek Stybar started half a minute behind the rest of the pack, but unlike in 2013 he didn't feature in the front end of the race.

Maarten Wynants saw a chance to repeat his victory from 2009 but he was up against a strong Sean De Bie (Lotto-Soudal) who beat everyone. Wynants finished second, Pieter Vanspeybrouck third. Stybar was sixth.

There was also a race for former cyclocross champions. Bart Wellens and Niels Albert were on the start line but the victory was for Bart's brother Geert Wellens. Kevin Hulsmans was second.
