The coming days Russian Team Katusha will start in two Spanish races: the one-day race Gran Premio Miguel Indurain (UCI 1.1) and the UCI WorldTour stage race Vuelta al País Vasco (Tour of the Basque Country).

The Gran Premio Miguel Indurain will be held this Saturday, on April 4th. Last year Katusha’s rider Sergei Chernetckii took a nice 3rd place in this race.

The Vuelta al País Vasco will be held next week from April 6th to 11th. Last year Simon Špilak finished 4th overall.

Joaquim Rodriguez will return to racing in Pais Vasco after he had to skip the Volta a Catalunya due to illness.

The Team Katusha roster:

Maxim Belkov, Alexander Kolobnev, Dmitriy Kozonchuk (only GP Indurain), Sergey Lagutin, Daniel Moreno, Joaquim Rodriguez (only Vuelta al País Vasco), Simon Špilak, Angel Vicioso and Ilnur Zakarin.
