With a fourth place finish, Kiel Reijnen (Unitedhealthcare) defended his overall lead in the Tour of Utah after stage 3. However, the American missed out on another stage victory on a course that suited him perfectly.

“They have a lot of faith in me and I have a lot of faith in them. I don’t think that we’re going to slow down anytime soon. The racing we’ve had so far has led itself to aggressive racing. I think that the fans have had a good show. It’s exciting to watch.”
