Davide Rebellin does not want to retire. Despite being 44 years old, the Venetian rider has announced that he will ride for another season at the professional level, once again in the CCC Sprandi - Polkowice jersey.
After a positive 2015 season which included wins in the Coppa Agostoni and in a stage at the Tour of Turkey as well as many good results, Rebellin has showed that he still has the strength and desire to continue at the highest level.
"The heart always has the last world. I saw that the body and head are still ready for new battles: full speed ahead for a new season and beautiful emotions that we can share together," he writes on his personal Facebook page. "With the enthusiasm of a child and experience after a 23-year career with its ups and downs, I will give the best of me. Thank you so much for encouraging me to continue and thanks to CCC for this new adventure. I am still too motivated and determined to go to bed. The passion is ageless."
