After his splendid Giro d'Italia victory, Nairo Quintana has moved to the top of the WorldTour rankings, relegating Alberto Contador to second. His Movistar team has closed the gap to Omega Pharma-Quick Step team in the team rankings and is now only a few seconds behind in second. Finally, the great Colombian showing in Italy has moved the South American country into second behind Spain in the nations rankings.
