Before a short rest period and the start of his preparations for the Tour de France, Nairo Quintana will line up in the 69th Tour de Romandie (UCI WorldTour) from tomorrow and until Sunday. The Swiss event features six stages, including two time trials -an opening, 19km TTT to the Juraparc on Tuesday, and a 17km ITT showdown in Lausanne- and as many mountain stages on Wednesday (four climbs en route to Saint-Imier) and Saturday (a tough finish towards Champex-Lac.)
José Luis Arrieta and José Luis Laguía will direct a solid Movistar Team, including Costa Rican Andrey Amador's return into racing after his elbow injury in the E3 Harelbeke. Winner Anacona, Imanol Erviti, Jonathan Castroviejo, John Gadret, Rory Sutherland and Eros Capecchi complete the eight-man roster, one of the last lineups from the Blues before starting in the Giro d'Italia, in less than two weeks' time.
