After Ronde van Vlaanderen CCC Sprandi Polkowice will stay in Flanders to take on another race held in that region, Scheldeprijs (1.HC).
CCC Sprand Polkowice will be led by Simone Ponzi. The Italian has already proven that he is capable of finishing near the podium. He was 4th on the penultimate stage of Tour of Oman and has plenty of cobblestone races under his belt this season.
Despite the fact that Maciej Paterski has just returned to racing after a knee injury, he is always among those who can either deliver good result, or put in an aggressive performance. This time the place on the line is not as important as getting back the race rhythm and finding solid form for the upcoming Amstel Gold Race.
The rest of the squad will focus on helping the team leader and attempting to get into the break.
Line-up of CCC Sprandi Polkowice for Scheldeprijs (6.04, 1.HC):
Simone Ponzi, Maciej Paterski, Adrian Kurek, Jarosław Marycz, Tomasz Kiendyś, Nikolay Mihaylov, Eryk Latoń, Bartłomiej Matysiak.
