Having won the race in 2014 and 2015, Jean-Christophe Peraud targets a third win as he leads a strong Ag2r team at Criterium International.
" I feel like if the season has just started… But we are in April," he said. "I haven’t climbed a real mountain pass since Tour of San Luis in January. It’s frustrating. I have been training in Sthe avoie Region these last days.
"I am happy to come back to Corsica. It’s a place and a race I love where I performed well. At the moment, I need to evaluate my form. I am impatient to race. I am confident."
Peraud will be supported by Alexis Vuillermoz, Curil Gautier and Pierre Latour in the mountain stage. The team is completed by Julien Berard, Blel Kadri, Samuel Dumoulin and Patrick Gretsch who could go for glory in the time trial.
