Ag2r will go into the Tour de San Luis with a 6-rider team that is led by Jean-Christophe Peraud and Alexis Vuillermoz.
"I come back to Tour de San Luis two years after my last participation," Pearud said. "I love this race. It’s a good event to start a season in good conditions. I am satisfied with my winter preparation with no physical problems. The weather has been good and I could ride easily. I have no particular goal in Argentina. My first real target will be Tirreno-Adriatico (March 9-15)."
The two team leaders will be supported by Quentin Jauregui, Axel Domont and neo-pro Francois Bidard who will make his pro debut in the event. Maxime Daniel is likely to test himself in the bunch sprints.
While one team is in Argentina and one team is in Australia to participate to Santos Tour Down Under, the rest of the roster will be in Gandia (Spain) from Monday to January 21 for a training camp.
