IAM Cycling’s Matteo Pelucchi will not participate in the Eurométropole Tour which is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, September 30th until Sunday, October 4th.
The Italian sprinter for the Swiss professional cycling team is suffering from a sore throat combined with a fever. His condition will prevent him from performing at his best level, and as a result, he will not take the start. Pelucchi will be replaced by Simon Pellaud.
IAM will still have lots of sprint options as Jonas Van Genechten, Heinrich Haussler and Sondre Holst Enger are all scheduled to ride.
