Kevin Pauwels failed to defend his title in the World Cup race in Namur as he had to settle for third place.
"And that was the highest possible result, the others were stronger," he told Het Nieuwsblad. "The difference was not so big compared to other competitions, but just enough to drop me in the finale. I can live with this third place which I value."
