Having arrived at the Delko Marseille-Provence KTM team earlier this year, Fredrik Strand Galta will not honor his two-year contract. According to procycling.no, the Norwegian has had a difficult season and did not wish to continue with Frederick Rostaing’s team.
Often injured or ill, Galta struggled to find the rhythm in his new team and also seemed to be homesick. He was relieved that his agent could find an arrangement so that he can return to his home country and skip his second.
In 2017, he will ride for Team Coop where he got his breakthrough in 2015 with two wins at the Kreiz Breizh and especially the fourth place overall at the Tour of Norway. At 24, he hopes to bounce back and find a place in a professional team for 2018.
