Club 48 has announced its nominations for the "Dutch cyclist of the year" awards. Last year the award ceremony was a controversial one as Niki Terpstra and Lars Boom lost out to Tom Dumoulin.
Terpstra won last year's Paris-Roubaix and Boom ended a nine-year drought by winning a stage in the Tour de France. However, it was Dumoulin who was labeled as cyclist of the year which caused a lot of criticism and a change in the voting system. The winners will be announced on November 30 in Den Bosch.
