Those were the words of Borut Božič after stage three at the Tour de Pologne. Božič and teammate Alexey Lutsenko found themselves playing lead roles on Tuesday in Katowice for a nervous finale on a long and gradual descent.
In the final 5k Božič led Andrea Guardini to the speeding front of the peloton and in place for the final turn in the middle of the Polish city. Among the leaders, Guardini sprinted to ninth behind stage winner Matteo Pelucchi of Italy.
With no changes in the overall classification German rider Marcel Kittel continues as race leader.
