Despite the age of 38, Danish rider Nicki Sørensen will continue his career of a professional cyclist at least for another year.
According to reports from BT, the Danish rider has renewed his contract with the Tinkoff – Saxo team for the upcoming season, should it be his sixth consecutive year in the outfit of Danish World Tour team and 14th as a professional rider.
Four-time Danish National Champion, last time in 2011, and the winner of stages on both tour the France and Vuelta a Espana, Sørensen has recently been involved with numerous allegations of doping by countryman and former teammate Michael Rasmussen, but on each occasion refused to comment the controversial suspicions.
