The new season has started but some riders are still finding new teams. One of them is Francesco Gavazzi (1984) who will ride for Androni-Sidermec in 2016 after riding for Lampre, Astana and Southeast in the past.
Gavazzi has a stage win in the Vuelta a Espana, two in the Tour of the Basque Country and the Coppa Agostoni on his palmares. He has been riding for Lampre (2007-2011), Astana (2012-2014) and Southeast (2015). Last year he was second in Trofeo Laigueglia and the GP Lugano in the first part of the year but then did not achieve more notable results.
Rodolfo Torres (Team Colombia), Mirko Selvaggi (Wanty-Gobert), Davide Viganò (Team Idea), Daniele Ratto (UnitedHealthcare), and Giorgio Cecchinel (Southeast) and neo-pros Egan Arley Bernal and Luca Pacioni are the other signings of Gianni Savio's team which is aiming for the WorldTour in the future.
Franco Pellizotti, Marco Bandiera, Marco Benfatto, Francesco Chicchi, Tiziano Dall'Antonia, Marco Frapporti, Alberto Nardin, Alessio Taliani and Serghei Ţvetcov wil return from last season.
