The 67th edition of Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne on Sunday, March 1st has a new trail in the finale. The renewed Budabrug in Kortrijk is now included in the two local circuits in and around the Brugsesteenweg in Kuurne.
Traditionally, the start of Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, held the day after the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, is at the racetrack in Kuurne. From there, the riders will leave for a trip of 196 kilometers. Nokereberg is 53 kilometers from the finish the last hurdle of the new trail.
"In Kuurne it always started quickly, given the eagerness of the riders to show themselves early in the season in Flanders. Our course is ideal to make a hard race, but it can also turn out to be the first big test for the sprinters teams," race director Peter Debaveye looks ahead.
