The FDJ Performance Group continues to expand. Already composed of four trainers, Fred Grappe, Julien Pinot, Sebastien Joly and David Han, it will now include an additional member, Nicolas Boisson, as DirectVélo revealed on Thursday.
Having been coach at CC Etupes and the BTWIN U19 Racing Team for some time, the 27-year-old will now work for a professional team. However, he will maintain strong link with the young riders since his role will be to work together with Han detect and train future pro riders, especially junior and U23 followed by the team.
Boisson enjoyed the support of the FDJ Foundation before having to put an early end to his career in 2011 as a result of health problems.
