Funvic Soul Cycles Carrefour has revealed an international schedule which includes races in Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Africa and Brazil. The Brazilian team will be at the start of races like the Vuelta a Andalucia, the Tour of Turkey and the Volta ao Portugal in their first year at pro continental level
For manager Benedito Tadeu Kid, an international calendar is necessary to make Brazilian cycling grow. "We know it will be difficult, but we are putting together a calendar with important races that brings together many of the greatest cyclists in the world. If you want to see Brazil grow in this sport, you have to do this kind of work that will serve as an exchange for our riders," he says.
The national calendar will be important. "Of course we will focus on the national calendar which will always be the main focus of the team. In addition to races like Rio Grande do Sul, Parana, Santa Catarina and Tour do Rio, we will also be present in other traditional races in Brazil," he says.
