The Movistar Team lines up at the 107th Milano-Sanremo, fourth stop of the 2016 UCI WorldTour schedule, this Saturday. The longest race of the season for the Blues - 291 kilometers between Lombardy's capital and the Via Roma in Liguria - will see the squad directed by Chente García Acosta tackling the famous Cipressa and Poggio climbs at the end of an otherwise flat, yet always nervous, first monument of the season. Alejandro Valverde and Juanjo Lobato, the latter recovered from knee pain which forced him to abandon Paris-Nice, will lead the squad.
Together with the two Spaniards and fellow countryman Fran Ventoso will be Costa Rica's Andrey Amador, Italian Giovanni Visconti and three of the four Colombians - Nairo Quintana will be at the Volta a Catalunya from Monday - within the ranks of the Blue team. Dayer Quintana, Winner Anacona -first race with his European team-mates in 2016- and Carlos Betancur, who will make his debut in Movistar colours after moving to Pamplona few days ago, complete the eight-man group.
