Bauke Mollema goes into his first year as a Trek rider and has made it clear that he wants to focus on the Ardennes classics and the Tour de France. The Dutchman has now unveiled his racing schedule for the first part of the year.

Challenge Mallorca (January 29-February 1), Vuelta a Murcia (February 14), Clasica de Almeria (February 15), Vuelta a Andalucía (February 18-22), Tirreno-Adriatico (March 11-17), Vuelta al Pais Vasco (April 6-11), Amstel Gold Race (April 19), Fleche Wallonne (April 22) and Liege-Bastogne-Liege (April 26) are the first nine races of 2015 for Bauke Mollema in his first year with Trek. The Dutchman has announced his schedule via Twitter.

For the fourth year in a row, he will be on the starting line of the Ruta del Sol after he was sixth in 2014 and third in 2013 when he was also second in Murcia. He has decided to ride Tirreno where he was 21st in 2014 and 22nd in 2013, instead of Paris-Nice, and will return to the Basque Country after his third place in 2012.

The Ardennes will be his first big goal of the season, after he has taken several top ten results and been  very close in recent years: 2012 (6th in Liege, 7th in Fleche and 10th Amstel ), 2013 (9th in Fleche and 10th in Amstel) and 2014 (4th in Fleche, 7th in Amstel and 15th in Liege).

The Tour de France where he was 10th in 2014 and 6th in 2013, will be the big goal in the second half of 2015.
