Team LAMPRE-MERIDA is going to participate in the first edition of Abu Dhabi Tour.

The team manager and sports directors Marco Marzano and Mario Scirea reached the United Arab Emirates together with the six riders who’ll do the race: Davide Cimolai, Mario Costa, Sacha Modolo, Manuele Mori, Diego Ulissi and Xu Gang.

Three stages will be suitable for the sprinters and Modolo and Cimolai will try to honor the blue-fuchsia-green level of speed. The 3rd stage will be the key stage for the overall classification. For the summit finish of Jebel Hafeet at the end of an 11km climb, LAMPRE-MERIDA will rely on Ulissi.

Mario Costa, Manuele Mori and Xu Gang will support the captains and will try to join the breakaways.
