Marc Madiot has formalized the arrival of Marc Fournier in the FDJ team. It is his first professional contract. He signed a two-year deal. The 20 year-old rider has already been with this team since August as stagiaire.
Fournier is a double French points race champion. On the road, he won the first stage of the 2015 Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux. He finished second place in the individual time trial at the U23 French national championships.
Marc Fournier is the sixth recruit of the FDJ team after Sebastian Reichenbarch, Ignatas Konovalovas, Jeremy House, Odd Christian Eiking and Daniel Hoelgaard.
