The former directeur sportif of Liberty Seguros defends himself against allegations in a rather philosophical manner.
“I knew about Fuentes, but I didn’t know what went on in his clinic”, the former team manager said according to tuttobiciweb.it when asked about his role in the ongoing trial of people involved in the “Operacion Puerto”.
“Some of my riders asked my permission to visit doctor Fuentes and I listened to their requests, but apart from this I have no knowledge of what went on in his clinic and I don’t even know if the riders in question actually went to see him."
