Following his bad crash at the Tour de San Luis and several weeks spent in hospitals in San Luis and Buenos Aires, Adriano Malori is ready to return to Europe.
Movistar have issued the following statement:
"Movistar Team is pleased to announce that the latest information supplied by the Bueno Aires clinic where Adriano Malori is convalescing, indicates that his condition continues to improve.
"All parties are currently studying the most suitable means of transferring Adriano to Pamplona (Spain) in the coming days, for examination by specialist staff at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra."
Malori's former sports director Mirko Rossato has told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he expects the TT specialist to be back in the peloton in the second half of the year.
