Rafal Majka will target more success when he lines up as one of the Tinkoff-Saxo leaders for the USA Pro Challenge. He will be joined by Michael Rogers who will also target the overall standings.
On Monday, Tinkoff-Saxo take on the US Pro Challenge in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with this line-up of strong climbers: Michael Rogers, Rafal Majka, Pawel Poljanski, Bruno Pires, Edward Beltran, Jesper Hansen, Michael Mørkøv and Rasmus Guldhammer.
“First of all, we’re here to support Michael and Rafal for a good overall result but if the right situation occurs, we’ll go for at stage win as well," sports director Lars Michaelsen said. "It’s a really mountainous terrain as we’re heading up in 3500 meters above sea level and the thin air will become a dominant factor. The riders who have been doing Tour of Utah just prior to the race will have a significant advantage but on paper, we have a very strong line-up”."
