The program for the first part of the season for Lotto - Belisol is now ready. The team will as usual start their season with Santos Tour Down Under and the Argentinian race Tour de San Luis.
The team captain Jurgen Van Den Broeck will start his season in San Luis together with Jelle Vanendert. After San Luis, Van Den Broeck will travel across the Atlantic to Italy, where the race of two seas, Tirreno-Adriatico, will be waiting for him.
Jürgen Roelandts will also take part in Tirreno-Adriatico, but instead of opening his season in Argentina, Roelandts will start in Australia. After these two races he will go to Qatar. He will ride Tour of Qatar as preparation for the Belgian classics. He will then attend Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
German sprinter André Greipel will start his season in Australia as well, where he will be going for his 3rd victory of the race. After Australia he will join Roelandts in Qatar and he will possibly ride the Tour of Oman as well. Just like former team-mate Mark Cavendish, Greipel won’t attend Italian classic Milan-Sanremo.
Tony Gallopin will participate in Tour of Oman. The Frenchman will probably open the season in the GP La Marseillaise and will then ride the Etoile de Bessèges. His first goal next year will be Paris-Nice. That’s the same for Maxime Monfort, who’s going to Spain to attend the Spanish races in the run-up, like the Ruta del Sol.
