Klaas Lodewyck is back on his bike. Last week the BMC rider underwent surgery to solve his problems with heart arrhythmia. They now seem to be completely behind him. "What can I say, I'm a happy man," he stated on Twitter.
In late July, 26-year-old Lodewyck heard the hard verdict. He suffered from cardiac arrhythmia and had to undergo surgery. Last week, the BMC rider underwent an operation.
The surgery was successful and on Thursday Lodewyck did a cycling test to check whether his heart problems belong to the past. Yesterday's tweet indicates that he is able to return to racing. "What can I say, I am a very happy man," he wrote.
