Having fractured his metacarpus after a crash on the stairs of a hotel on December 11, Pierre Latour will soon be able to make his return on the road.
While in Courchevel as a spectator to follow the Alpine World Cup round, the Ag2r - La Mondiale rider explained his situation in an interview with the Dauphiné.
"I am riding on the home-trainer and walking a bit," he says. "Hopefully, I will be back on the road in seven days."
The accident will give a slight delay in the preparation but nothing important. Latour will target one-week stage races and the Tour de France in 2017.
